Let's restock the Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach pantry with our We Can Help Canned-Food Drive on Friday, March 28th at the Veteran's Cafe.
Helping Hand offers much-needed services for many people in need in our community, and they could use our help.
A list of most-needed items include:
- cereal (including bars and mini boxes)
- canned meat (including tuna, chicken, spam and pouches)
- instant potatoes
- canned ravioli
- mac & cheese
- pasta (any type, including pop-top microwave pasta)
- pasta sauce
- ramen noodles
- canned veggies (including carrots, peas, mixed)
- oatmeal packets
- vienna sausages
- pop-top beanie weenies
- fruit cups/applesauce cups
- granola bars
Hygeine items and monetary donations are also appreciated!
We'll collect your items between 6am and 10am. So, you pull up, we take the donation to our Two Men & a Truck van and you get an EASY t-shirt. Yup, it's that EASY.
We'll have some fun too with Van Roberts broadcasting live on-site and a few prizes hidden in some of the t-shirts from Little River Deli, Homegrown Hosptiality Group (i.e. Rioz), Myrtle Beach Pelicans and PC RX Computers. Who knows what you may win, or just win a t-shirt!
The Veteran's Cafe is off Hwy 17 and Socastee Blvd., behind CiCi's Pizza and McDonald's.
Thank you to our sponsors who've helped make this event happen: Dependable Service Plumbing & Air, Two Men & A Truck, Veteran's Cafe & Grille, PC RX Computers, Little River Deli, Homegrown Hospitality Group, Myrtle Beach Pelicans and Minuteman Press.
