Help Meals on Wheels of Horry and Georgetown County deliver meals to their growing family of "grandparents" by making a doantion at our food drive.
The annual Stuck-In-A-Truck event will be at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at Farrow Parkway at Market Common on Wednesday, November 27th. EASY Radio will be set up near the entrance, and all hands will be on deck, plus a few more, starting at 6am!
We'll be there until the truck is full of food and supplies to help MOW in their mission to prepare and drop off home-cooked food for the terminally ill, homebound and elderly in our area while also providing fellowship.
They're really in need of:
- #10 cans of:
- mixed vegetables
- peaches
- pineapple
- fruit cocktail
- oranges
- sweet peas
- carrots
- green beans
- large boxes of:
- instant potatoes
- rice
- pasta
- sugar-free jello
- sugar-free cookies
- dole fruit cups
- aluminum baking pans
- paper towels
- bottled water
Stop by and drop off some extras you found in your pantry or collected before then, or swing by and do your Thanksgiving grocery shopping with us and pick up a few cans or boxes to drop off as you walk to your vehicle.
