This year, I'm celebrating my birthday a little differently, and you're invited!
Where: Tidal Creek Brewhouse (TCB)
When: Thursday, June 27th
Time: 4pm to 6pm
Let's meet in the Brewhouse (where they brew their beer) if the weather is iffy, and, if it's nice, we'll head outside to their beer garden. There'll be free finger foods, and I'll have some prizes to give away.
Just bring a new or gently-loved kids book to donate. We'll hang out and have a beer after!
(And if beer isn't your thing, that's okay! TCB has coffee, wine mixed drinks and more.)
*Buy a beer from 4pm to 5pm that day, and get a free pretzel.*
It's going to be fun, and I can't wait to see you and all the books we collect!
This event will benefit Freedom Readers, a local organization who's mission it is to end the cycle of poverty by providing opportunities for children to develop advanced literacy skills.
